December is the month of giving – a time to come together and share warmth, love, and joy! For many of us, the holidays mean spending time with family and friends and enjoying each other’s company. Unfortunately, for some children, this time can feel extra lonely and uncertain. To help prevent that, we’re counting on you! With the ‘Giving Tree,’ you can give a child who is alone and without family a wonderful Christmas gift and bring a spark of happiness and light to these dark winter days.
The motivation behind Socialclub is to create a sense of togetherness, do something good together with our tenants, and show that we care about our community during these dark days. So, will you join us?
Pick a transparent Christmas ornament from the Giving Tree (next to the Hospitality Desk) between Monday, December 1 and Monday, December 15.
Open the ornament and find inside a card with the gift wish, an information sheet, and a name sticker.
Buy the gift (around €20).
Wrap the gift and attach the name sticker to the outside of the package.
No time to wrap the gift? You can bring the gift plus the name sticker to the Hospitality Desk, and they will wrap it for you (don’t forget to bring the name sticker as well).
Drop off the gift at the Hospitality Desk before Monday, December 15!

Pluryn offers treatment to young people with complex problems. They do so as close to home as possible, as short as possible, as long as necessary. Sometimes children cannot stay at home temporarily. At a treatment centre they can continue to work on their future and development. Pluryn has several youth locations in different regions. They can stay in a quiet environment where they alternate between education, treatment and therapy.
