5,000 tulips to pick and bring home

“Everyone is excited and it’s just so nice to be back in the office!” – community member

On Thursday 24 March, the Spot Schiphol Community kicked off spring season with a ravishing spectacle of 5,000 tulips. The tulips were placed on a square in between Hilton and The Base, located at a five-minute walk from WTC Schiphol Airport. More than 450 visitors showed up to collect a free bag of tulips.

Foodtruck and photo booth

It was the very first live event after corona, and for sure one to remember! To capture this historic event, visitors were able to have their photo taken with their freshly picked bouquets. For dessert, Amsterdam Good Cookies stroopwafels were on the menu, straight from the food truck!

Great atmosphere
According to the pickers, the event was a great success. “Everyone is excited and it’s just so nice to be back in the office!” exclaimed an enthusiastic visitor. And although it is nice to take a bouquet home with you, colleagues were not forgotten either. “I’m picking tulips for the champs who are hard at work in the restaurant,” said one attentive attendee.
